FSDT previews more of KLAX

These are the latest previews of KLAX from FSDreamteam. As expected, it looks like another highly detailed scenery from them. I can not wait to see the final product; which is expected sometime this spring. These are the only images released today.

Hilton Head Airport and The Mighty Eighth

There isnt much to see at the Hilton Head Airport. I was told that US Air is the only main line carrier that has a regular flight into Hilton Head. I was lucky enought to be there when it arrived. Here are a few shots that I got from HH Airport.

On the drive back to Orlando, we passed thru Pooler, Georgia; which is home to the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum. The Museum site is on the side of I-95. If you ever any where near this place, it is a must see.

This is the B-17 that is being restored to operating condition.

This is a small section of the memorial gardens the pays tribute to all the Mighty Eighth pilots and crews that have lost there lives in the line of fire during World War II.
If you want more information about this museum, check this out:

I am back from a short break

After spending a few nights away from Orlando, I have returned. Sometime within the next day or so, I will post a couple of pictures from my visit to the Hilton Head Airport, and the Mighty Eighth Airforce Museum in Pooler, Georgia (where they are restoring a B-17 to operating condition).
